The Kid Who 'Knew Nothing' Just Got a Perfect Score

Today was a big physics test at Jefferson Middle School.

The teacher, Mr. Harris, told the class it would be very hard.

Everyone studied for many days before the test.

Jake was one of the students who studied the most.

He read his textbook every night and made many notes.

His friend Leo did not seem worried about the test at all.

Leo never talked about studying, and he always looked relaxed.

On the day of the test, Jake felt nervous and his hands were cold.

The questions were very long and some of them were really tricky.

Jake tried his best, but he could not answer every question.

A week later, Mr. Harris gave back the graded tests to the class.

Jake looked at his paper and saw a big F at the top.

He felt very sad and a little embarrassed in front of his classmates.

Then he looked over at Leo, who was smiling and holding his test up.

Leo got a perfect A-plus, and nobody in the class could believe it.
