New in Town? Here is How to Find Your Way!
Mark arrives at his hotel and puts down his heavy bags.
He feels hungry and realizes he also needs some cash.
He goes to the reception desk to ask for help.
"Hello, is there a supermarket near here?"
Mark asks.
The receptionist smiles and points toward the main door.
"Yes, there is a large grocery store just around the corner," she says.
Mark then asks her about the location of the nearest ATM.
"You can find an ATM inside the bank across the street," the receptionist explains.
Mark thanks her and walks outside into the bright afternoon sun.
He finds the supermarket quickly and buys some fresh fruit.
Then, he withdraws some local money from the bank machine.
Suddenly, he remembers that he needs to buy some aspirin.
He looks around the busy street but he does not see a pharmacy nearby.
He sees a man walking a dog and decides to ask him for directions.
"Excuse me, do you know where the closest pharmacy is?"
Mark asks politely.
The man stops and points toward the big town square.
"Go straight for two blocks and turn left at the park," the man says.
"The pharmacy is right next to the post office," he adds with a smile.
Mark thanks the man for his kind and helpful directions.
Now he has everything he needs for his perfect vacation.
