Discover What You Are Naturally Good At
Many people wonder what they are truly good at in life.
The Gallup organisation created a special tool to help people find their natural strengths.
This tool is called the CliftonStrengths assessment, and it is used all around the world.
The assessment asks you a series of questions about how you think, feel, and behave.
After you complete the questions, you receive a list of your top strengths.
Gallup calls these strengths 'themes', and there are 34 different themes in total.
Some examples of themes are Empathy, Learner, Achiever, and Strategic.
Each theme describes a natural pattern of thinking or feeling that comes easily to you.
Gallup believes that people do their best work when they focus on their strengths.
Instead of spending all your energy fixing weaknesses, you should develop what you already do well.
Many companies and schools now use CliftonStrengths to help their teams work better together.
When a team understands each other's strengths, people can share tasks more effectively.
For example, someone with the Communication theme may be excellent at presenting ideas clearly.
Meanwhile, someone with the Analytical theme might enjoy finding patterns in data and solving complex problems.
Understanding your strengths can help you feel more confident and find greater satisfaction in your daily work.
