A Little Shop Surprise

I go to the shop after breakfast.

I take a small basket.

The shop is near my home.

I see apples by the door.

The apples are red and green.

I choose three red apples.

Then I look for bread.

The bread smells warm and nice.

I put one loaf in my basket.

I also need milk.

The milk is in a cold case.

I take a small bottle.

At the till, I say hello.

The shop worker smiles.

I pay with a coin.

The total is five pounds.

I put my food in a bag.

Outside, I check my basket.

There is a pear under the bread.

I did not see it before.
