A Day with My Hamster

Today is a special day for my hamster.

His name is Pip.

I care about Pip very much.

Every day, I check that he is happy.

In the morning, I look at his cage.

I am patient with him when he is shy.

Pip is a small animal with a big charm.

He makes me smile every day.

I clean his cage with care.

I use a small comb to tidy his soft fur.

His fur is very tidy after that.

Pip likes to run on his wheel.

He can spread his legs and run very fast.

Sometimes I doubt he will stop!

I give Pip fresh water every morning.

I also give him food from a small bowl.

Today, I make a special treat for him.

I use dough to make a tiny biscuit.

The dough needs yeast to rise a little.

I bake it in the oven for a short time.

Pip sniffs the biscuit with his little nose.

He takes a small bite and eats it quickly.

I am so happy to see him enjoy his treat.

Pip is my best little friend.
