Why Your Household Needs a Tiny Tiger

Do you know why cats are such amazing pets for your home?

Many people in Britain love having a cat as their favourite companion.

Cats usually like to sleep in a warm place during the afternoon.

They have soft fur that feels very nice when you stroke them.

A cat often spends many hours cleaning its own coat with its tongue.

Most cats are very good at catching small mice in the garden.

You might see a cat sitting on a wooden fence in the sunshine.

They like to eat special biscuits or small pieces of fresh fish.

Some cats are very shy and prefer to hide under a big sofa.

Others are very friendly and want to play with a piece of string.

It is important to give your pet fresh water every single day.

Cats can see very well even when the room is quite dark.

Their long whiskers help them feel things around their sensitive faces.

When a cat is happy, it makes a soft sound called a purr.

Having a cat can make your house feel like a real home.
